Well, the Keystone PA closed 20+ years ago, but yes, the building is still a Quonset hut..

I can name 5 businesses that have occupied that building..

Did it become One Step Beyond? My memory is blown.

No. One Step Beyond was a warehouse in Santa Clara, on Martin Ave IIRC.

The Keystone PA became the Vortex (lasted for a year or two), then the Edge (until recently), and is now Illusions. Prior to the Keystone, it was the Oom Pah Pah (a german restaurant).

A friend of mine threw her 40th birthday party at Illusions a few months ago, bringing a band called O Mighty Isis back together after 20 years (former members flew in from as far away as Ireland). Among the folks who showed up were Tuck and Patti (a local jazz duet), and Hershel Yatovitz (guitarist for Chris Issac), who sat in for a few tunes (he used to play with the band back in the day)..

The place is a lot cleaner than I remember the Keystone being, but it's still the same building.
